Thank you for using Nudge Deck ("we", "us", or "our"), operated by James Shah. Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Nudge Deck iOS app and related services (the "Service").

1. Information We Collect

• Account information: When you sign in with Apple, we receive identifiers needed to create your account (such as your Apple subject identifier). We may also receive your name and email address if you choose to share them with the app.
• Profile and preferences: Display name, timezone, and quiet-hours settings you configure in the app.
• Couple and game content: Pairing / invite activity, season settings, Nudges you send or receive, custom Nudges you write, timeline and recap data shared within your couple.
• Proof media: Photos, voice notes, or text you attach as proof for a Nudge. Proof is stored in our cloud backend and is visible to your paired partner.
• Device and notifications: Push notification device tokens (APNs) so we can deliver Nudge alerts when you enable notifications.
• Technical data: Standard operational logs needed to run and secure the Service (for example, error diagnostics).

2. How We Use Your Information

• Create and manage your account and couple pairing
• Operate game rules, seasons, inbox, timeline, and recap features
• Deliver or hold Nudges according to quiet-hours settings
• Store and show proof media to your paired partner
• Send push notifications you have opted into
• Respond to support and account-deletion requests
• Maintain security, prevent abuse, and improve reliability

3. How Content Is Shared

Nudge Deck is designed for paired couples. Your Nudges, custom cards, timeline activity, and proof media are visible to your paired partner as part of playing the game. We do not sell your personal information. We do not show your couple content to other users outside your pair.

4. Service Providers

We use trusted infrastructure providers to host the Service, including cloud database and file storage used for accounts, game state, and proof media. These providers process data only to help us operate the Service.

5. Data Retention

We retain account and game data while your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. Proof media and related game records may be retained for the life of a season or account unless you request deletion earlier. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete or de-identify associated personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain limited information for legal, security, or abuse-prevention reasons.

6. Your Choices

• You can update quiet hours and profile settings in the app.
• You can disable push notifications in iOS Settings.
• You can request access to or deletion of your account and associated data by emailing hello@nudgedeck.app.

7. Children's Privacy

Nudge Deck is intended for adults. The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Data Security

We take reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect your information. No method of internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. International Users

The Service may be hosted in the United States or other countries. By using Nudge Deck, you understand that your information may be processed in locations that may have different data-protection laws than your home country.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, when appropriate, provide additional notice in the app or on this website.
